Okay is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our diverse team in further evolving our strong customer authentication (SCA) solution. As part of Okay, you will be joining the product engineering team to maintain and help us build functional systems that improve customer experience.
You will be joining a team of in-house developers in evolving our service offering. As a DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities will include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs.

• Writing scripts (e.g Python/Bash/Kotlin/Node)
• AWS (e.g EC2, S3, R53, IAM, ECR, ECS)
• Testing (e.g Unit tests, Integration tests, Functional tests)
• CI/CD (e.g GitLab, AWS)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible)

• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of clients and conveying this to developers
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and ‘fixes’
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

• A relevant educational background; bachelor or a master’s degree in software engineering, or related field
• A few years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Experience with writing tests and testable code
• Understanding of software architecture

As DevOps Engineer, you can work from home or join our team of developers in beautiful Skien in the south of Norway for on-site work. You will be working with passionate people from all of New Normal Group, which Okay is a part of.
